Bishop George to Ordain Six Transitional Deacons on Feb. 11

Bishop George will ordain six transitional deacons at the Feb. 11 Eucharist at St. John's Cathedral, concluding the February session of the diocese's 33rd Annual Convention. A reception will follow in St. John’s Great Hall hosted by the deacons' parishes:

Isaac Blevins, St. John the Baptist, Battle Creek
Erik Broeren, Grace Church, Chattanooga
Liz Embler, Good Samaritan, Knoxville
Matt Farr, Good Shepherd, Lookout Mountain
Jon Hermes, St. Timothy, Kingsport
Ben Thomas, St. Paul, Chattanooga, and Southside Abbey
